Smart Park or as the now-infamous Super Bowl commercial calls it Smaht Pahk. If you haven’t seen the commercial yet I highly recommend you watch it I will include it below but it’s nothing short of hilarious.
The feature was debuted on the new 2020 Hyundai Sonata. The feature basically allows you with a push of the button on your keyfob to both move the car forward and back. This allows you to park in tighter spaces or get out of one if someone blocked you in.
While for most markets this is not a necessity in the traditional sense it is very useful in cities such as New York, LA, etc.
However, this feature is not currently present on the 2020 Hyundai Palisade and this is because it wasn’t introduced until after it was manufactured. In fact, the new Sonata has many new features not currently included on the Palisade but they are likely to be added in a refresh or periodically over the next couple of years.
