I like the 2020 Hyundai Palisade, it comes with a luxurious interior and is filled to the brim with technology. However, as was found when we addressed whether or not it comes with in-car wifi it’s not a flawless vehicle. In fact, just like in the last article you might be disappointed.
The Hyundai Palisade does not come with a DVD Player and this is because there is no entertainment system in the vehicle. There is not even an option to get one, most owners instead opted to make use of its USB ports and get mounts for iPads. A product such as this mount can be added to the back of your seat allowing your children to watch shows off an iPad. In fact, you could even use it for a Nintendo Switch if you wanted and then you can power the device using the USB charger in the back of the seat.
No DVD Player But You Have Options
As I mentioned above you don’t have a DVD Player but there are options whether its the Nintendo Switch or sticking an iPad your kids whether they are in the second or third row can be entertained. One important note if you’re going to mount a Nintendo Switch using the above mount you need a USB A to USB C charging cable. I personally recommend getting a braided cable which basically just has a Nylon braid to protect the cable which can help it last longer it also feels and looks a bit more premium.
This can help you bridge the gap between having no entertainment and having all the entertainment you could want! If you want a bonus tip if you are specced to have the household outlet get a fast charging wall adapter and use that for the Nintendo Switch to keep it fully topped off and running!
